TeTiriti O Waitangi Marae is of huge Historical Significance: The marae is closely linked to the signing of both He Whakaputanga (Declaration of Independence) in 1835 and Te Tiriti o Waitangi (Treaty of Waitangi) in 1840. Here you can book our marae for various occasions for hui or overnight, book cutural experiances, sign up for educational workshops, or if you are whanau or hapu you can apply for our special members only areas with exclusive news, updates and start or join members groups.
