WAITANGI MARAE CHARTER SURVEY AND REVIEW QUESTIONAIRE

The Waitangi Marae Trustees are currently reviewing our Charter and are also developing plans to make the marae a place for rangatira where manaakitanga is bestowed upon all Tangata Whenua and Manuhiri.
We invite whanau members and beneficiaries to have your say before the new Charter is adopted preferably at the next AGM later in the year which will be advertised in the local newspaper with 21 days public notice. ** Danny Tuato’o will be assisting our trustees and beneficiaries, in his professional capacity, to help us develop a new charter that is compliant with the Māori Reservations Regulations 1994. We have provided an early opportunity for feedback via our survey below. It covers many topics relevant to activities and kaupapa on our marae. We are asking for your participation to help us with our strategic direction moving forward. If you don't engage then please don't complain later or claim that we didn't ask for your input. Here is your opportunity so we encourage you to have your say.
