​EPIC MAORI EVENT

Our annual 6th of February TIRITI O WAITANGI COMMEMORATIONS provides a great opportunity for us as Kiwi’s to showcase our nations culture, history and heritage. The Dawn Ceremony, Navy parades, Waka demonstrations, discussion forums, food outlets, trade stalls, carnivals, performances and concerts, all create an electrifying atmosphere that draws an estimated 30,000 visitors from all over the country. WAITANGI MARAE plays a key role and is the main focal point leading up to this epic event.

WELCOME TO WAITANGI WEEK 2022

Applications are now open for a stall or marquee space on the Waitangi Marae whenua.
All applications to be emailed to Susan Apiata: sapiata1986@gmail.com
Please cc' in Ngati Kawa Taituha n.taituha@hotmail.com

All stall and marquee submissions need to be submitted by 4pm 25th January 2022.
We have limited spaces this year therefore we have to do applications differently.

How to submit:
  1. Submit your application to the above email addresses by the 25th January 2022
  2. You will receive a receipt email acknowledging your application submission. 
  3. Your application will be considered.
  4. You will receive a confirmation email that your stall/marquee placement has been approved etc. 
There will be a waiting list for any last minute cancellations. 

The expectation is that all packaging for stalls be environmentally friendly. 

Payment is made prior to arrival. 
This is a drug and alcohol free event.
Car parking is limited.
